Many families of Coral Springs Swim Club once again gave back to their community, this time by participating in the City of Coral Springs Toy Drive.
Each year, the Coral Springs Police Department collects new, unwrapped toys to be donated to any child in need in the community of Coral Springs.
Coral Springs Swim Club has been collecting toys since the beginning of December at Mullins Park pool and the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex.
In addition, an Amazon link was set up for families to purchase and donate a toy directly for ease of donating during this very busy time of year.
On December 18, over 120 toys were delivered to the Coral Springs Police Department facility by CSSC swimmers, parents, and coaches, including Bruno Darzi, Jessica Long, Brittany Bellomo, and Sam McCormick.
The police staff on hand was extremely grateful and overwhelmed by this heartwarming effort. Enthusiastic thanks to the families of Coral Springs Swim Club for helping brighten the holiday season for so many fortunate children.
