
Coral Springs Police {Aiden Palmer}
A 65-year-old woman died Sunday from injuries she suffered in a hit-and-run vehicle crash that happened in Coral Springs two days earlier, on her birthday, police said.
Authorities said Debra Indar was riding as a passenger in a black Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Sample Road and Woodside Drive around 5:22 a.m. Friday, a collision happened between the Corolla and a silver Chevy Impala. The driver of the Impala fled the scene on foot, according to the Coral Springs Police Department.
The Corolla’s driver was rushed to Broward Health North by the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department, along with Indar. The driver was later released from the hospital, police said.
No arrests had been announced in the case as of Monday night. Police said their investigation was active and they could not comment further.
