The quest for a District Championship continued at Coral Springs Charter, with the boys and girls varsity soccer teams action along with the middle school team.
The boys soccer team defeated Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School 3-1. Despite coming as the five seed after going 6-11-1 in the regular season, the Panthers knocked off the fourth seed.
They are set to play NSU University in the District Semifinals on Monday, Jan. 30, at 5 p.m. The Sharks come in as the top seed after going 13-1-1 this year. Their only loss came against Gulliver Prep, and they had a bye in the Opening Round of the District Tournament.
The girls varsity team finished the season with 12 wins. They fell to Pine Crest in penalty kicks on Friday. The CSC Middle School soccer teams completed incredible years. The girls won the South Florida League Championship for the fourth straight year, while the boys fell in the final 3-2 in penalty kicks.
