Sawgrass Nature Center {City of Coral Springs}
Students, families, and community members are invited to give back to local wildlife during ERE Community Cares Day, a volunteer event hosted by the Eagle Ridge Elementary PTA in partnership with the Sawgrass Nature Center.
The outdoor service event will take place on Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Sawgrass Nature Center, located at 3000 Sportsplex Drive in Coral Springs.
Organizers say the morning is designed to be both fun and meaningful, offering families an opportunity to support wildlife conservation while spending time together outdoors.
Volunteers will assist with hands-on activities to help maintain the nature center and support its mission of wildlife education and rehabilitation. Children are welcome to participate, but parents or guardians must remain with them at all times.
Participants are encouraged to bring water and dress comfortably for outdoor activities.
Eagle Ridge Elementary is celebrating its 30th year.
For more information about the event, families are encouraged to contact jessica.schroeder@browardschools.com.
