Coral Springs Charter gymnastics standout Gabby Kostick has officially committed to Long Island University.
Kostick will fulfill a lifelong goal of competing at the Division I level after spending nearly her entire life in the sport.
“It feels so good and relieving to be committed and know where my home for the next four years is going to be,” Kostick said. “Doing D1 gymnastics in college has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl, and I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”
Kostick began gymnastics at American Twisters Gymnastics when she was two years old and has remained with the program ever since. She currently competes at Level 10 and trains five days a week.
During the 2026 season, Kostick competed in several major events, including the Florida Level 7/9/10 State Championships, Florida Crown Championships, Tim Rand Invitational, Presidential Classic, Atlanta Centennial Classic, and Tampa Bay Turners Invitational.
She recorded several strong uneven bars performances, highlighted by a 9.675 at the Tim Rand Invitational and a 9.650 at the Presidential Classic. Kostick also posted a 9.450 on vault at the Presidential Classic and a 9.350 at the Florida State Championships.
Long Island University quickly stood out during the recruiting process. Kostick said she knew after her first visit that it was where she wanted to continue her career. Meeting the coaches and team only strengthened that feeling, as she immediately felt welcomed and part of the program.
Kostick will now finish her high school and club gymnastics career before taking the next step and competing at the Division I level for Long Island University.
