Coral Springs Commission Sets Tentative Millage Rate and Budget

The Coral Springs Commission adopted the millage rate at its September 15 meeting.
It adopted a resolution establishing a tentative operating millage rate of 6.0232 to balance the general fund for Fiscal Year 2026/2027, up 0.2745, or 4.77 percent, from the rolled-back rate. It also established a tentative general obligation debt millage rate of 0.1581, setting the rolled-back rate at 5.7487, according to city information.
The commission approved on first reading an ordinance adopting the annual Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program for fiscal year 2026/2027 that includes the budget for the general fund, water, sewer, fire, solid waste, charter school, stormwater, public art, debt service, tree trust, museum, equipment services, and capital improvement program funds. The final public hearing on the budget will be on Wednesday, September 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Coral Springs City Hall, 9500 West Sample Road, according to city information.
