It’s time to get out the garden gloves for this year’s EarthFest plant giveaway, hosted at the Sawgrass Nature Center in the Coral Springs Sports Complex.
EarthFest will feature nature exhibits, a community garden, raffles, smiles, and a plant giveaway. This year the city will exclusively offer all native Floridian plants, which are known to preserve water better, allowing them to thrive in South Florida weather conditions.
The event is free but intended for Coral Springs residents only. Plants will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis, and identification will be required to acquire a plant.
Festivities begin on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 9 am to 12 pm at the Sawgrass Nature Center, 3000 Sportsplex Dr.
