Three-time Grammy Award winner Lucinda Williams is set to perform at the Coral Springs Center on Saturday, February 3, bringing a unique show that intertwines music and storytelling.
This special event is part of her tour promoting her latest album, “Stories from a Rock N Roll Heart,” and her bestselling memoir, “Don’t Tell Anybody The Secrets I Told You.”
“Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart,” Williams’ 16th studio album, is a ten-track journey through hard-charging rock ‘n’ roll. The album stands as a testament to Williams’ resilience and unwavering spirit to create amidst any circumstance.
Despite no longer playing guitar, a skill she honed since age 12, Williams’ vocals are as compelling as ever, weaving through her unique blend of country, Southern blues, and folk.
The album features a stellar cast of guest artists, including Bruce Springsteen, Patti Scialfa, Angel Olsen, Margo Price, Jeremy Ivey, Jesse Malin, Buddy Miller, and Tommy Stinson. It has garnered acclaim from prestigious outlets such as The Associated Press, Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal, NPR Music, and American Songwriter.
In her memoir, Williams delves into her traumatic childhood and the challenges she faced in the music industry. She shares the experiences that shaped her music and inspired her lyrics, including tumultuous relationships and the evocative Southern landscapes of her youth. The memoir, celebrated by The New York Times, Vogue, and Vanity Fair, is available in hardcover, digital, and audio formats.
The Coral Springs show promises to be an extraordinary blend of songs, stories, and visuals, showcasing Williams’ prowess as one of America’s most revered songwriters. Fans can expect an intimate evening with this Americana legend, whose work continues to resonate deeply with audiences across the globe.
Tickets are $45.48 – $109.68 for this one-of-a-kind show. Purchase them online at the Center’s official website The Center Coral Springs.
