Officer Scott Clark and K9 Titan
By: Sharon Aron Baron
Calling all dog lovers! This Wednesday, the Coral Springs Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 87 are hosting the Inaugural K9 Memorial Fundraiser.
When a K9 retires from the force, the handler, who considers their K9 family, assume all responsibility for them, and this includes their medical needs, food, etc. Many department unions have created fundraisers to assist the K9 Officers and their families with the cost associated with their senior K9’s.
The Coral Springs Police Department is inviting the community to join local law enforcement at Wings Plus in Coral Springs for this fun, family event Wednesday, August 13 from 5-9 pm. A portion of food sales during those hours, plus a planned 50/50 raffle will benefit the fundraiser.
Wings Plus is located at 9880 Sample Road in Coral Springs. Please contact Corey Logan at 954-829-6448 for more information.
