It was a special day for J.P. Taravella as they had the chance to honor their seniors during halftime in their loss to Coral Springs High School and hold a moment of silence for former Athletic Director Jason Stein.
The seniors include Mike Vicinanza, Javon Pickett, Javion Mortimer, Brendon Baugh, Dylan Garcia, Aaron Legiste, Daniel Corbin, De’mauri Simpson, Caleb Allen, Ky-Juan Higgins, Ryan Carner, Victor Restrepo, Joshua Cedeno, Cameryn Knight, Javan Hanse, Gary Dieuresil, Mark Trana, Damien Pierre, Kendrick Logene, Chad Evans, Sean Rubin, Daniel Daley, and Ashkenny Meha.
“These seniors mean the world to me,” Head Coach Charles Hafley Jr. said. “Most of these kids have been with us for four years. All they know is this coaching staff. They gave their blood, sweat, and tears.”
JPT will face Coral Glades High School also on Friday, November 13, at 7 p.m. The Jaguars are coming off their first loss of the season on Thursday to Marjory Stoneman Douglas.
