For the second straight year, Jade Scott of Coral Glades High School won the Broward County Athletic Association Damian Huttenhoff Golf Classic at the Country Club of Coral Springs.
On Monday, Scott shot a 67 (-3), which was five shots better than Kierra Williams of Western High School.
St Thomas Aquinas went on to win the event as a team, followed by Cardinal Gibbons High School.
The boy’s team finished fourth overall, led by Chase Fisher and James Transue. Justin Laing, Noah Rosen, and Carter Brooks also competed for the Jaguars, who recorded a team score of 360.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas took first place overall, with T.J. Thompson winning the event individually for the Eagles.
