The Andrezza Facanha Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy held a second grand opening on September 10 to celebrate its initial success in Coral Springs.
The Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce and community leaders celebrated the Academy with a ribbon-cutting and enjoyed a social event.
“We offer martial arts and work with people ranging from young children to older individuals. We work to build self-confidence, physical fitness, and teach self-defense skills,” said Edgar Estevez, who owns the studio with his wife, Andrezza Facanha.
Both Estevez and Facanha have won awards and championships in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. “Our goal is to help people improve themselves,” said Estevez.

Members of the Chamber, State Rep Christine Hunschofsky, and co-owner Edgar Estevez.
The Academy is located at 5659 Coral Ridge Drive. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
