Police arrested three men who robbed a woman at gunpoint at a Coral Springs condominium, court records show.
According to Coral Springs Police, Xavier Deshommes, 18, of 4280 Riverside Dr. in Coral Springs, Jimmy Carry, 20, of Miami Gardens, and Izaiah Bazile, 19, also of Miami Gardens, robbed the female around 1 p.m. Saturday outside a building at 9144 W. Atlantic Blvd., within the Visconti Condominiums complex, according to an arrest affidavit.
The victim told police she was sitting in her car when three males, two of them armed with guns, demanded her blue Apple iPhone 13 worth $1,200 and up to $200 in cash she carried with her.
She refused to hand over her property despite one of the men pointing a gun at her head, records show.
Two of the men punched her several times, and the robbers got away with her phone and money, police said.
They drove off in a black Nissan Altima, the affidavit states. The victim gave police the Altima’s plate number, and investigators soon tracked the car to its owner, Deshommes.
After conducting surveillance, police pulled the Altima over on Riverside Drive with four people inside, including the three men who were later arrested.
The victim positively identified all three men as her attackers at the scene of the traffic stop, police said.
Investigators pinged the victim’s iPhone using Apple GPS technology and found it laying in the street nearby. They also found the iPhone’s case inside the Altima.
The three men were taken into custody at the scene and invoked their right to an attorney, records show.
Bazile is charged with burglary and robbery by sudden snatching. Carry is charged with burglary and armed robbery. Deshommes is also charged with burglary and armed robbery.
Police said all three men have been charged with crimes in the past, including robbery, burglary, and weapons charges.
Records show the men were being held without bond at the Broward County Main Jail Wednesday.
