Coral Springs Grows More Diverse as Housing Costs Outpace Incomes

Coral Springs residents looking for more than just home values and school grades now have a new way to measure community spirit.

Nextdoor Holdings, Inc. released its 2026 rankings of Coral Springs’ Friendliest Neighborhoods, highlighting the communities where neighbors are most engaged, supportive, and welcoming based on activity on the platform.

Nextdoor, the neighborhood-based social network, analyzed how Coral Springs residents interact online to identify which areas stand out for positive engagement.

The top five friendliest neighborhoods in Coral Springs are:

Forest Hills
Kensington
Behind The Walk
Shadow Wood
The Windings

According to the company, the rankings are based on real neighbor interactions, including how residents help one another, share resources, and build local connections.

“When people are considering where to live in Coral Springs, they want to know more than just the statistics — they want to understand what it’s really like to be part of that community,” said Kelsey Grady, chief communications officer at Nextdoor. “Nextdoor is uniquely positioned to analyze neighborhoods based on real neighbor interactions to shed light on traits that make communities truly thrive.”

How the Rankings Work

The Nextdoor Friendliness Score functions as an index. One neighborhood in Coral Springs receives a top score of 100, and other neighborhoods are ranked in relation to that benchmark.

Several factors are considered in the calculation, including:

Posts with a positive or negative tone
Fulfilled neighbor requests for help or recommendations
Posts expressing neighborhood pride or dissatisfaction
The number of free items shared in the “For Sale & Free” section
Welcome posts that receive responses from neighbors
Residents promoting or recommending local businesses

The company said the data reflects how neighbors actually engage with one another on the platform, offering a snapshot of community connection beyond traditional metrics.
