From the Coral Springs Commission:
November is a time to reflect, give thanks, and celebrate our community.
In response to the devastating impacts of Hurricane Melissa, which made direct landfall on Jamaica and affected several surrounding Caribbean islands, the City of Coral Springs is organizing relief efforts to support those in need.
Now through November 15, we are collecting essential items such as soap, solar-powered lights and more to help those impacted by the storm. Donations can be dropped off at the City Hall Lobby (9500 West Sample Road) and Public Safety Building (2801 Coral Springs Drive).
For a complete list of requested items and additional information, please visit CoralSprings.gov/donate.
