The Sawgrass Nature Center and Wildlife Hospital in Coral Springs is gearing up to welcome children and families to its “Spring into Spring” event.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event will have a lineup of activities that blend fun with educational experiences, all supporting local wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education efforts.
Located at 3000 Sportsplex Drive, the center is preparing an array of attractions for the event, including crafts, animal visits, scavenger hunts, bunny basket raffles, and treats, along with goodie bags for attendees to take home.
It will also offer a unique opportunity for hands-on learning and serve as a crucial fundraiser for the Sawgrass Nature Center.
According to Robin Reccasina, Executive Director, proceeds from the day will directly aid the center’s mission to rehabilitate over 1,300 native animals annually and reach over 10,000 people through various educational programs.
