Pasquale’s Pizza on Coral Ridge Drive will host a two-day fundraiser to benefit the Parkland 17 Memorial Foundation, donating 20 percent of sales from dine-in and takeout orders on Wednesday and Thursday, October 22 and 23.
The fundraiser will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. both days at Pasquale’s Pizza, located at 5609 Coral Ridge Drive. Customers must indicate their support for the fundraiser to ensure that proceeds are donated.
The Parkland 17 Memorial Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Florida not-for-profit organization, was established to build the official public memorial honoring the 17 lives lost during the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on February 14, 2018. The memorial will pay tribute to Alyssa Alhadeff, Scott Beigel, Martin Duque Anguiano Jr., Nicholas Dworet, Aaron Feis, Jaime Guttenberg, Chris Hixon, Luke Hoyer, Cara Loughran, Gina Montalto, Joaquin Oliver, Alaina Petty, Meadow Pollack, Helena Ramsay, Alex Schachter, Carmen Schentrup and Peter Wang.
Funds raised through the event at Pasquale’s will support the construction of the memorial, which is planned within a 150-acre nature preserve located on the border of Coral Springs and Parkland as a unifying space for both communities.
Those unable to attend the fundraiser can make a donation directly at parkland17.org/donate.
