As part of Literacy Week, Ramblewood Middle School is holding events, including a bookmark contest, literature trivia, and hosting guest readers.
On Wednesday, guest readers included Principal Maria Perez, Coral Springs Vice Mayor Joy Carter, J.P. Taravella AP Instructor Michael Warkentien, and Lois Margolin, CPA.
Florida Literacy Week is held between January 27 - January 31, 2020, and is designed to encourage students to read daily.
Debra Mandel, Ramblewood Middle's Literacy Coach, believes reading is a fundamental literacy skill. “We should always encourage our students to read, no matter their literacy levels.”
