
Armando Llechu {Broward Health}
Broward Health Coral Springs has named Armando Llechu as its new chief operating officer, effective Monday.
In his new position, Llechu will oversee daily operations at the 278-bed hospital in northwest Broward County.
A seasoned healthcare executive, Llechu most recently served as chief officer of hospital-based care at Lee Health in Fort Myers, where he led operations, quality, and cost management for the five-hospital system. He also held leadership roles at Miami’s Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, including vice president of clinical operations and administrative director of the emergency department and support services.
“We are thrilled to welcome Armando to our leadership team,” said Broward Health Coral Springs Chief Executive Officer Kristen Bowman. “With his proven track record in healthcare operations, Armando will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and strengthening our teams as we continue advancing healthcare for the community we serve.”
Llechu earned a Bachelor of Health Services from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University. He is also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
