Regional Exit Caps Strong Seasons for 2 Coral Springs Soccer Teams

A pair of Coral Springs soccer teams saw their postseason runs come to an end this week in regional play.
The Coral Glades boys team earned the No. 6 seed in the Regional Tournament but had its season conclude with a 5–0 loss to Christopher Columbus High School on Friday at FIU Stadium. The Jaguars finished the year 11–8 after an impressive playoff run that included victories over J.P. Taravella and Spanish River Community High School, reaching the district final, where they fell to Marjory Stoneman Douglas.
The Coral Springs Charter girls team also qualified for regionals but lost 4–0 to NSU University School in the regional quarterfinals. The Panthers won 14 games during the regular season and captured a district tournament win over Calvary Christian Academy before dropping a 3–0 decision to Cardinal Gibbons High School. CSCwrapped up the season with a 15–5 record.
