{Soca Heatwave}
Caribbean music fans can expect an evening of high-energy performances when Soca Heatwave comes to the Coral Springs Center for the Arts on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 8 p.m.
The concert will feature three of soca music’s biggest names — Patrice Roberts, Alison Hinds and Nailah Blackman — for what organizers describe as a celebration of Caribbean culture, music and entertainment. The event will be hosted by Giselle “the WassiOne,” with live onstage music from DJ Chan Lit.
Before the concert, ticket holders can kick off the evening at the Sunset Fete Pre-Party from 6 to 8 p.m. The add-on experience includes music by DJ Powerhouse, island-inspired food, drink specials and carnival-style “mas” vibes.
The $20 pre-party add-on includes one complimentary drink and is available only to guests who purchase a Soca Heatwave concert ticket.
Organizers say the event will deliver an evening filled with iconic hits and nonstop Caribbean energy, bringing together three of the genre’s most recognizable performers on one stage.
Tickets are available through the Coral Springs Center for the Arts ticketing website: Soca Heatwave tickets.
