Calling all student performers, it’s time to step into the limelight this Summer with Next Stop Broadway, the premiere training center for young professional thespians.
Singing, acting, dancing, and performing a musical live on stage is just part of the fun one can expect. Each camp session will also feature spirit rallies, dress-up days, movie days, and talent shows, culminating in a full-scale musical production in which every camper participates.
This year’s theme is Once Upon a Summer featuring an array of fantastical performances.
Session 1 will feature Peter Pan from June 12 through June 30, 2023. Session 2 features Beauty and the Beast from July 3 through July 28, 2023. Session 3 is the Wizard of Oz, starting July 31 through August 18, 2023. And the final Session 4 for teens will be Young Frankenstein between July 3 and August 12, 2023.
“We are incredibly proud of our students’ successful performances and are excited to see our next cohort shine like superstars in our upcoming shows —it’s fun,” said Randy Koral, communications director.
The cost of tuition is $870 for the three-week session and $1,290 for the six-week teen sessions, with $99 down to reserve the spot. Siblings receive a 10% discount. The schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Lunch is not included; however, students can purchase concessions. Registration is filling quickly and can be found on the center’s website Next Stop Broadway.
Several Next Stop Broadway alumni are now working in Broadway, Netflix, Las Vegas, and more; it’s never been a better time to make it big in Coral Springs.
