Sushi Sake is set to open doors on its newest location, right here in Coral Springs.
Sushi Sake Coral Springs tells Coral Springs Talk they’re tentatively set to welcome guests to their 6270 West Sample Road restaurant on June 23, pending final buildout and inspections. The newest location is set to bring the same signature blend of vibrant atmosphere, top-quality ingredients, and fan-favorite Japanese-inspired dishes that have earned it a loyal following throughout South Florida.
Steven Michael Marin, the owner of the new franchise location, is a South Florida-based entrepreneur who currently owns eight Sushi Sake restaurants throughout the state. According to Marin, the expansion into Coral Springs felt like a natural next step.
“Coral Springs has a vibrant, family-friendly community and a growing food scene that aligns perfectly with our brand,” Marin said. “This new Coral Springs location will feature our signature modern décor, a sake and wine bar, upbeat energy, and attentive service that caters to both casual diners and sushi aficionados alike.”
Founded in 2009 by Angel Aguayo, Sushi Sake has grown from a single Miami outpost into a well-established Florida franchise with over 40 locations—and more on the way.
Marin tells Coral Springs Talk that his connection to the food industry runs deep. He credits his passion for the culinary arts to his grandmother, who spent most of her life working as a waitress at the iconic “La Carrera” restaurant in Miami.
Now, soon to be part of the Coral Springs culinary scene, Marin says he feels right at home in a piece of Broward bubbling with new areas for families and friends to make memories together, specifically and most enjoyably, around food. Marin says many Coral Springs residents are already familiar with him and his other locations in South Florida.
“We’re incredibly excited to come to Coral Springs. We’ve seen strong demand from locals who were already traveling to our other locations like Davie.”
At the Coral Springs location, Marin says diners can expect to find the same standout signature items that locals have enjoyed across every Sushi Sake location, such as the Golden Panther Roll, Leslie Roll, Marin(er) Roll, and the Sunset Fried Rice, all made with the highest-quality fish and ingredients.
Marin also shares that while sushi may be the namesake, the hibachi plates have also become a fan favorite for their bold flavors and generous portions.
As the anticipated grand opening draws closer, Coral Springs Talk will keep you posted on all the details surrounding the celebration. In the meantime, Marin says guests can look forward to discovering a new go-to dinner favorite — one that’s both welcoming and worth the wait.
“Each Sushi Sake location is designed to deliver a warm, vibrant, and welcoming dining experience,” Marin said. “We can’t wait to see you in Coral Springs.”
