Tacocraft Taqueria and Tequila Bar celebrated its grand opening in grand style with the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Members of the Coral Springs commission, including Mayor Scott Brook, Commissioner Joy Carter, and Broward County Commissioner Michael Udine, were in attendance.
Dan Marino, the former football quarterback who played 17 seasons with the Miami Dolphins and a partner in the new restaurant, was also present and took photos with guests.
The new Tacocraft is located at 3240 North University Drive.
Kristi Bartlett, director of economic development for Coral Springs, enjoyed the grand opening and liked what she saw.
“This is the fourth and largest Tacocraft built and an important part of the city’s downtown development. This is good for the city,” she said.
Brook also enjoyed the event. “Tacocraft is a good restaurant and will help us build the downtown. Our downtown is more connected and more fun,” he said.
Pat Marzano, a partner, was pleased to be part of the grand opening. “We are all happy and excited to be a part of this restaurant.”
Before the opening celebration, the restaurant was filled with people enjoying meals and drinks.
