Get ready for a wild ride to the other side as Next Stop Broadway’s Teen Theatre Project presents Beetlejuice the Musical at the Coral Springs Center for the Performing Arts.
This spooktacular production hits the stage on Wednesday, July 31, at 11 a.m. and Thursday, August 1, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., promising a hilarious, heartwarming, and hauntingly fun experience for all ages.
Based on Tim Burton’s beloved cult classic, Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a teenage goth girl obsessed with death and still mourning the loss of her mother. When Lydia and her father move into a haunted home, she encounters a recently deceased couple and a fast-talking, mischief-loving demon named Beetlejuice, who can’t wait to cause chaos in the land of the living.
From catchy songs and outrageous antics to heartfelt moments and jaw-dropping performances, the teen cast is ready to conjure up an unforgettable show filled with supernatural energy and theatrical magic.
“The cast of Beetlejuice is not only incredibly talented, but also one of the kindest and most supportive groups of young performers I’ve ever worked with,” said Artistic Director Cynthia O’Brien. “Their positive energy makes rehearsals such a joy, and that spirit is going to shine on stage in what’s sure to be a truly fabulous show.”
With music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominee Eddie Perfect and a book by Anthony King and Scott Brown, Beetlejuice was nominated for eight Tony Awards in 2019, including Best New Musical.
Tickets are just $25 and available now at thecentercs.com. Student rush tickets will also be available at the door on show days.
Don’t miss this laugh-out-loud, otherworldly adventure—it’s the ghost with the most like you’ve never seen him before.
