Coral Glades Twin Runners Fabio and Victor Castillo Lead Cross-Country with Speed and Support

Fabio Castillo is the fastest runner on the Coral Glades cross-country team. He is excited about the upcoming season.

“I got interested in cross country last year, and I started to do well. I like running and I want to continue to get better,” said Fabio, a junior.

During the spring, he competed in the 800-meter run and the 4X800 relay. He has a 4.5 grade point average, is taking advanced placement courses, and enjoys studying Spanish.

Fabio has support while training and competing. His twin brother, Victor, is his teammate. “I enjoy running with my brother,” he said.

Coach Frank Cunningham believes in the year’s cross-country team and expects the team to do well.
