Two people suffered minor injuries in an apparent shooting incident near the intersection of Northwest 87th Terrace and Atlantic Boulevard in Coral Springs Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Coral Springs Police said officers were conducting an active investigation in the area. A police spokesperson described the injured people as a victim and a potential suspect but said no additional information was immediately available.
Police said there was no threat to the community and asked drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area until further notice.
