Publix Kiosk {City of Coral Springs}
A new self-service vehicle registration kiosk is now available at the Publix on Coral Ridge, as part of a Broward-wide rollout, providing residents with a faster, more convenient way to renew their vehicle registration.
The kiosk allows customers to renew vehicle tags and print registration decals on-site, often in two minutes or less. No appointment is required, and there’s no waiting in line at a tax collector’s office. Drivers simply need either their registration renewal notice PIN or their license plate number, along with the first registrant’s date of birth.
The Coral Springs kiosk is at Publix, located at 1400 Coral Ridge Drive.
Officials say the goal is to bring essential services closer to where people already live, work, and shop, making routine renewals quicker and more accessible.
Not all vehicles are eligible for kiosk renewal. Vehicles must not require a new license plate or a Florida Certificate of Insurance, nor must they require IRS Heavy Vehicle Use Tax.
Autonomous vehicles, boats, government vehicles, IRP registrations, mobile homes, National Guard license plates, personalized license plates, and parking permits or placards are also ineligible.
In addition to the Coral Springs location, vehicle registration kiosks are now available at multiple grocery stores across Broward County, including:
- Publix, 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway
- Publix, 5656 South Flamingo Road
- Publix, 3251 Hollywood Boulevard
- Publix, 5855 West Oakland Park Boulevard
- Publix, 1003 East Commercial Boulevard
- Publix, 600 North University Drive
- Sedano’s, 17171 Pines Boulevard
- Publix, 1181 South University Drive
- Publix, 10155 West Oakland Park Boulevard
Residents can visit any participating kiosk to quickly renew eligible vehicle registrations and walk away with a printed decal the same day.
