Zoe Gobbi is the drum major for the Coral Springs Charter marching band {David Volz}
A love and passion for music have driven Zoe Gobbi to success in the Coral Springs Charter band program.
Gobbi, a senior, is the drum major for the Panthers Marching Band. She is the first chair trombone and earned a superior rating at the district and state level last year for her musical performance.
“Band is so much a part of my life, and I really love it. I want to study music education, and I have many great memories of playing in the band over the years. I have really enjoyed participating in the competitions,” said Gobbi.
Like many band members, Gobbi loves the camaraderie. She has been a member of the band for seven years and has made many friends. As a leader, she works to create a positive atmosphere in the band and wants the younger members to learn the music and have a good time.
When not playing traditional band music, she enjoys listening to hip-hop songs.
