
A teen was arrested after stabbing another outside of a Coral Springs 7-Eleven Thursday afternoon.
Coral Springs Police received several calls about a large group of children congregating outside of the store located at 11650 W Sample Rd. Then, they received several more calls about possible stab wounds.
An off-duty Lauderhill police officer rendered aid to the stabbing victim, who had two wounds: one in his abdomen and one on the left side of his chest.
The victim was treated then transported to Broward General Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Coral Springs Police arrived on site shortly after at approximately 2:28 p.m. The juvenile who stabbed the other was arrested and is still being questioned.
The investigation is still active. How the two know each other and what led to the confrontation is still unclear.
