City Hall in the Mall, a satellite city hall and one-stop-shop for Coral Springs residents seeking government resources, will suspend the issue of U.S. passports due to concerns over COVID-19.
Remaining open until 6 p.m. St. Patrick’s Day, City Hall in the Mall will then close starting Wednesday, March 18, for eight weeks as a precautionary measure to stop the spread of Coronavirus.
City Spokesperson Paula Rubiano said the safety of residents and city employees is of the utmost priority.
“The decision was made as per the CDC’s guidance,” said Rubiano. “We will be suspending all city events and programming that consist of 50 people or more, or have the potential to have more than 50 people.”
Located in the Coral Square Mall, City Hall in the Mall is at the southwest entrance and is expected to remain closed until May 17.
