Broward Health Coral Springs has updated its visitor policy, allowing patients one visitor over the age of 18 each day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
Effective immediately, the revised policy follows all the safety measures the healthcare system continues to implement to limit the spread of COVID-19 in their community and ensure their patients’ and caregivers’ well-being.
Maternity patients will also be allowed one guest during labor, and visitors of pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit patients are welcomed 24 hours, seven days a week. One visitor can accompany patients in the Emergency Department.
All guests should arrive wearing a face covering from home. Guests who arrive without a mask will be provided one, and they must be worn for the entirety of the visit.
They ask that visitors continue to take simple steps to protect themselves and others, including thoroughly washing your hands, wearing a face mask, and social distancing.
