Now that the holidays are over, Waste Pro will begin collecting Christmas trees.
Trees must be placed on the curb on the resident’s scheduled bulk pick-up day or dropped off at the Waste Transfer Station at 2600 Wiles Rd, on Saturday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or Sunday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The City of Coral Springs does not offer tree chipping services like Tamarac. However, residents can participate in Broward County’s “Chip-a-Tree” program, where their trees will be recycled for mulch for county parks.
This season’s Chip-a-Tree program runs daily through Monday, January 18, 2021. The closest drop-off locations to Coral Springs are:
Fern Forest Nature Center, 201 Lyons Rd. South, Coconut Creek 33063 954-357-5198
Tradewinds Park & Stables, 3600 W. Sample Rd., Coconut Creek 33073 954-357-8870
Whether recycling or leaving trees for trash, please remove all decorations, including tinsel.
