It was another exciting year of girls flag football this season in Coral Springs.
Between Coral Springs High School, Coral Glades, and J.P. Taravella, the three teams combined to win three games as well as settle for two ties.Â
JPT defeated Coral Glades 7-0 and followed that up with a season-high 23 points in their next game against Plantation High School on April 7. The Colts also had a win against the Jaguars 34-6, and despite losing their next seven games, the Colts scored eight touchdowns.
While Coral Glades didn’t have any wins, they managed to pick up two ties against Deerfield Beach and Coconut Creek High School. In their final regular-season game, they also had a chance to honor a pair of seniors, Jocelyn Perez and Lindsey Templier.Â
