A local Democratic leadership organization has invited the community to put on their dancing shoes for a day of encouraging voter turnout and political awareness.
To promote voter participation, the Coral Springs-Parkland Democratic Club is gearing up to host a neighborhood votercade event Saturday, August 12, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Riverside Park, located at 205 Coral Ridge Drive.
The CSPKDC votercade is an event focusing on promoting Democratic political engagement while at the same time raising awareness about issues impacting the community and encouraging voter turnout.
In honor of the votercade coinciding with Jamaican Independence Day, event organizers say attendees should wear comfortable shoes to enjoy some added fun that requires being light on their feet.
To participate in the CSPKDC votercade, interested individuals must register and RSVP here.
For any queries or additional information, community members can contact Amber Vaughan at cspkdcpresident@gmail.com or call 850-341-8540.
