The Phi Xi Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is celebrating a significant milestone this month, marking 16 years of dedicated service to the Coral Springs community.
Founded on the principles of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has been a beacon of community support and action since its inception on January 16, 1920, at Howard University.
To commemorate their 16th anniversary in Coral Springs, the sorority known as the Ladies in “Blue” has organized community service events showcasing their commitment to positively impacting the local area.
On Saturday, February 24, the Phi Xi Zeta chapter will honor the hardworking men and women of the Coral Springs Police Department as part of Zeta’s State Day of Service.
In a gesture of appreciation and support, the sorority will provide the police department with essential items, including hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wipes, car air fresheners,
On Saturday, March 16, the Phi Xi Zeta Chapter will continue its efforts with a cleanup project along University Drive from Ramblewood to Royal Palm. This initiative is part of their ongoing commitment to maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of Coral Springs, an effort they undertake quarterly.
The Ladies in Blue encourage community members to show their support by honking as they pass by the cleanup crew.
