Get ready to dress up that pup because the popular food truck event Bites-N-Sips is returning to Coral Springs with a dog costume contest.
The event will be held on Friday, May 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will offer the community a variety of culinary offerings alongside engaging activities and entertainment.
The event will feature a lineup of food trucks, offering everything from gourmet pretzels by Auntie Anne’s to exotic flavors like the Greek Gyro and Tijuana Taxi Co. Noteworthy participants include Moop Pops, V’s Cheesecakes, Cecelies Gourmet Ices, Auntie Shirley’s, Chicago Me Up, Dem Boyz BBQ, Food Madness, GNS Seafood Express, I Love Panzerotti, Mr. Meatball, and World Famous Eggroll.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Bites-N-Sips will host live music from the band Livewire. Members of the 501st Legion will also make special appearances at the event.
A unique feature of this year’s event is the Dog Costume Contest scheduled for 6 p.m. in front of the main stage. Dog owners wishing to participate must register at the city tent between 5:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. As a dog-friendly event, all pets must be kept on a leash, and owners must be mindful of cleaning up after their pets.
In addition to food and music, attendees can explore various arts and crafts activities. This free event is held at the City Hall Lawn located at 9500 W Sample Rd.
