A “Celebration of Life” with full police honors will be held for Coral Springs Police Sgt. Ebony Winn, Friday at 10 a.m. at Church by the Glades.

Residents in the area of the service can expect traffic delays along Sample Road, University Drive, Coral Springs Drive, Coral Ridge Drive, Ramblewood Drive, and Lakeview Drive between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. for the funeral procession, according to police. Residents are encouraged to seek alternative traffic routes.
The police honors will include a rifle volley between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., police said.
Winn, a beloved member of the department, died after a courageous six-year battle with cancer, police announced Saturday. She joined the force in 2008.
