2025 Waterway cleanup. {City of Coral Springs}
Residents are invited to help protect local waterways during the 2026 Broward Waterway Cleanup, set for Saturday, March 7, at Riverside Park in Coral Springs.
The annual cleanup, held on the first Saturday in March, encourages community members to remove litter and debris from waterways throughout Broward County. In Coral Springs, volunteers will gather at Riverside Park, 205 Coral Ridge Drive, along the C-14 Canal.
Students participating in the event can receive community service hours for their volunteer work.
Organizers will provide event T-shirts, plastic bags, litter grabbers, water, and directions to cleanup locations while supplies last. Participants are encouraged to bring comfortable clothing and be prepared for outdoor conditions.
Residents with questions or special accommodation needs are encouraged to contact site leader Roy Gold at 954-971-4040 or by email at Royzgold@aol.com.
Additional information is available through the City of Coral Springs Parks and Recreation Department. City contact Louis Goldstein can be reached at 954-345-2112 or by email at Lgoldstein@coralsprings.gov.
