Children lead the pledge prior to the August 2026 City Commission meeting. {City of Coral Springs}
The City of Coral Springs encourages good citizenship early by allowing local children to lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
Children who attend Coral Springs’ private or public elementary, middle, or high schools — or who live in the city — are eligible to apply.
By leading the pledge, children learn a valuable lesson in civics while attending their first city commission meeting. They will also be featured on Coral Springs TV, receive a T-shirt, and take their photo with Mayor Scott Brook.
Students lead the pledge only at the commission meetings held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6.30 p.m. The spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
If your child is interested, visit CoralSprings.gov and fill out the form.
City Hall is located at 9500 W. Sample Road.
