The City of Coral Springs is offering a free housing seminar designed to help first-time buyers, especially essential workers, achieve homeownership.
The free-to-attend Affordable Housing Forum event will take place on Thursday, June 5, at 6:00 p.m. at Coral Springs City Hall in the Commission Chambers. Activities include an in-person forum, which is especially designed to be helpful for essential workers such as teachers, nurses, police officers, and firefighters looking to buy their first home.
Attendees will learn about available housing assistance programs for down payments and closing costs, current real estate trends, mortgage and lending options, and essential homeowners insurance information.
Participants can also ask questions and receive valuable take-home materials from industry experts.
The Affordable Housing Forum panel includes Joy Carter, a highly experienced Realtor and former Coral Springs city official; Dan Cioci Jr., an expert in real estate risk management at Risk Strategies; Tracy-Ann Anthony, Coral Springs’ Neighborhood & Housing Manager with extensive public administration experience; and Ryan Patton, President of Capitol Lending Group, specializing in mortgages for teachers, first responders, and veterans.
