A witness said that over 50 cars at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School parking lot were covered with obscenities today.
The woman, who did not want to be identified, said she parks near the parking lot at the North Community Park on Westview and Coral Springs Drive to pick up a child at Coral Hills Elementary. She said she saw a car drive off with two boys laughing. Then she said she noticed all of the cars that were covered with obscenities. “It had to be more than 50 cars,” she said.
The lot at this location is used for freshmen, sophomores and juniors at the high school to park their cars and it is on City of Coral Springs property. Students pay a fee to park on the lot. Seniors park on school property.
“All these mothers that park here to pick up their little kids were mortified because their children know how to read. Even the little boy that I picked up was reading all of this on the cars as we walked to my car.”
The witness said she got the tag number and gave it to police, who told her they would question the owner.”Even if they didn’t do it I’m pretty sure they know who did.”
