Five people were injured – including a child – in a serious vehicle crash in Coral Springs on Sunday, authorities said.
The child was flown to Broward Health as a pediatric trauma alert, according to Mike Moser, deputy chief of the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department.
An adult was also rushed by ground to the hospital as a trauma alert patient shortly after the crash, which happened shortly after 5 p.m. at West Sample Road and Northwest 85th Avenue, authorities said.
Three other patients with serious injuries were taken by ground to Broward Health North, according to Moser.
Photos taken at the crash scene show at least one vehicle destroyed, its back end torn off in the collision.
No additional information about the crash was immediately available Sunday night, including the condition of the child and other injured patients.
