The City of Coral Springs invites residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to attend a public Community Meeting to learn about and provide input on the city’s Master Mobility and Connectivity Plan.
According to the city, the meeting will present conceptual plans and focus on 10 priority projects along city-owned roadways to improve safety, accessibility, and connectivity for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers.
Proposed enhancements include expanded sidewalks, shared-use paths, traffic-calming measures, and roadway improvements to create safer, more connected travel options throughout the community.
The Master Mobility and Connectivity Plan is funded through Broward County’s Mobility Advancement Program (MAP) surtax, which was awarded to Coral Springs to support long-term improvements to local transportation infrastructure.
“Mobility is about more than moving from one place to another, it’s about safety, accessibility, and quality of life,” said Commissioner Joe McHugh. “As a representative for the Metropolitan Planning Organization, I know that community input is essential as we plan for the future, and I encourage residents to attend and share their ideas.”
Residents will have the opportunity to review the proposed concepts, ask questions, and provide feedback that will help shape the final plan.
The meeting is held on Thursday, February 19, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Everglades Room at City Hall, 9500 W. Sample Road.
