Residents are invited to come together on Friday evening to honor the life of Coral Springs Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer during a community vigil at City Hall.
The informal gathering will take place on the City Hall Lawn, located at 9500 W. Sample Road, from 6 to 9 p.m., offering an opportunity for residents to mourn, reflect, and support one another following her tragic passing.
Community members are encouraged to stop by at any time during the evening to pay their respects to Metayer, who was widely recognized for her compassion, leadership, and dedication to the city.
The vigil follows news of her death earlier this week, which authorities said is being investigated as a homicide.
