It was a strong effort for the Coral Glades girls tennis team this season, which came to an end in the District Tournament on Thursday.
The Jaguars had the opportunity to play a pair of finals as Sydney Dennis won a pair of matches. Also, the doubles pairing of Jillian Edrich and Sophia Cassius made the championship match.
In both singles and doubles, Coral Glades advanced to at least the semifinals in all but one match.
Head Coach Gabriel Matteazzi said it was a fun team to coach, and she was proud of their effort this year in a very difficult season. Carina Barella, Kaitlin Parker, Maxine Hakimi Bolton, Alissa Fefelice, and Marissa Ferrugia round out the rest of the team.
