
Coral Glades Track and Field. {Dr. Mark Kaplan}

The Coral Glades Track and field team is performing well before Districts.
The Jaguars boys and girls team won six events on Wednesday in the Blanche Ely Tri-Meet #5 at Pompano Beach High School.
Stephen Sadare won the 100 while Damonie Taylor finished first in the 200, and Nathaneal Renie was the runner-up in both sprints. Coral Glades also won two events on the field, with Jaden Wilson placing first in the long jump and Taylor winning the long jump.
Joshua Perez, Ruthdmaer Louissant, and the 4 x 100 relay team placed third. Francesco Mannino had the lone another top-five result, while Damonie Taylor, Chase De Los Santos, and Kenyon Carne performed well, helping the Jaguars come in fourth with 81.83 points.
For the girls, Jemina Mills won the 100 and 200. Gabiyis Blanco came in third in the 100, while Alawi Ali and Tashani Elliot-Butt had top-five finishes. The Jaguars ended with 81.83 points.
