The City of Coral Springs will commemorate the 20th anniversary of September 11, with a ceremony open to all residents.
The event takes place in front of the 9/11 monument at the Northwest Regional Library on Saturday, September 11, at 3 p.m., to honor the victims and heroes that perished in the terrorist attacks.
The afternoon will include performances by the Coral Springs Charter School band and Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department Pipes and Drums and a pathway of remembrance flags and special messages from speakers.
Those who wish to visit over the weekend will see a wreath and the Sea of Flags on display at the Great Lawn of City Hall.
The Northwest Regional Library is located at 3151 N. University Drive, just south of Sample Road.
