The Coral Springs American Little League had two baseball teams compete in the District Tournament, highlighted by the 10U team reaching the final.
The 10U team finished second after wins over North Springs, Parkland and Fort Lauderdale. They later faced Fort Lauderdale again in the championship round and dropped two games, finishing as district runner-up.
The team included Gil Monzon, Logan Marin, Greyson DeCarlo, Token Culmer, Nick Lawrence, Noah Davis, Connor Kweldo, Ben Kearns, Alex Hageman, Avery Bruny, Gabriel Nunez and Jacob Ramirez.
The 12U team played against Fort Lauderdale and Coconut Creek, but dropped both games.
The roster featured Jake Hagemann, Aaron Torres, Alberto Garcia, Alfonso Santiago, Branley Fernandez Jr., Conner Cohen, Gavin Glick, Hagan Mello, Marcus Reyes, Mathias Garcia, Xavier Aponte and Yitzi Kirsner.
