The Coral Springs Chargers have been a staple of the community since the mid-1970s, providing youth football and cheerleading programs for boys and girls.
With the 2023 football season just around the corner, the Chargers have announced its partnership with the newly established league, the American Association of Youth Football (AAYF).
The league was founded with one goal in mind, according to Chargers President Kim Valldeperas: quality training, learning of fundamentals, and development of their youth through sports.
With a focus on delivering the best for the boys and girls, the AAYF has partnered with organizations such as Baptist Health and Down N Distance Academy to ensure the safety, technique, and execution of the young athletes.
The Coral Springs Chargers are inviting all interested players and cheerleaders between the ages of 5-14 and 3-15, respectively, to register for their programs. The season kicks off with Spring Conditioning and Cheer Evaluations beginning on Monday, May 1.
Registration for the Chargers’ football and cheerleading programs is now open, and interested individuals can visit the team’s website at coralspringschargersfootball.teamsnapsites.com to register.
For any questions regarding the Chargers’ programs or registration, interested individuals can contact Kim Valldeperas at 954-294-6747 or Coach Wallace McIntosh at 954-632-7668.
